Weekend Get-away

Ned and I decided that, since we don't have any kids yet, we should really enjoy our lack of responsibility and try to take a lot more quick, spur of the moment trips this year. So far we haven't come up with many ideas of what to do or where to go. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!

I know, I know!!! You should come to Denver. And what do ya know? You have a free place to stay there. Why, that just seems like a mighty nice idea. But yeah, I think it's a great idea to take advantage of less responsibility than you might have someday and being a little spontaneous!

(as a completely unrelated sidenote...when I first started paper scrapping and then digi scrapping, I was totally overwhelmed both times. To me, I much prefer digi scrapping (I think it's faster and I don't have to deal with the mess and storage and junk) so, if you wanna dabble in some digi stuff, I'd be happy to show you the ropes--not that I'm a pro, but I can at least show you who IS a pro and you can take it from there...)

I love the dude ranches up in Idaho! Very rustic and fun. I can't say but the price might just be right too. There are lots of bed and breakfast places that are cheap too. We had friends that ran one from their home in the country outside of Pullman. The funny thing is they lived in a small manufacture home.

Ned and I both grew up in Texas, and I have to say, all my memories of dude ranches involve not-so-volutary field trips in which I was some how manipulated into shoveling manure. The B&B does sound fun though!
