Have you ever watched the Food Network show Chopped? They have mystery baskets with 4 ingredients in them and chefs have to compete to see who can come up with the best dish containing all 4 items. After making Ned watch it with me dozens of times, he came up with an idea. Once every couple of weeks he is going to come home from work with a few random ingredients and see what I can do with them. This actually solves a big problem for us, because we always argue about who has to choose what we will eat for dinner. Neither of us can ever come up with anything. Now, every once in a while, he will choose the ingredients, and I will decide what to do with them. Perfect solution!
So without further ado, here are this weeks ingredients:
Crispy Rice cereal, raspberries, jalapenos, and ground beef.
I already know what I'm going to make with it, but before I post it, I'm curious as to what your ideas might be. As soon as I make it, I'll post pictures and recipes!

make hamburgers - crush the rice cereal and use it as a binder in the meat mixture (instead of or in combination with breadcrumbs/oatmeal) throw the jalepenos in, too, to give the burgers some kick, and use the raspberries to make a sauce for the meat. You could make it raspberry chipotle or raspberry jalepeno!
You could make a cafe rio type salad but with a jalapeno/raspberry dressing. I personally love rice crispy treats so that would get my vote. Do all the ingredients need to be in each dish?
All of them have to be in the entree. So a salad + a meat dish would be acceptable.
We're going to do future challenges for desserts/ appatizers.
I thought you could only use those 4 items. Can you add other ingredients? You know, like butter? Cause butter makes everything better. Ooh, what about ice cream?
I love having ground beef in my icecream!

Yes, you can use items from your pantry. Any reasonable item you might have on hand.
I'll be honest. This game was more interesting to me before you could use whatever in your pantry. That's just cooking now. You can't trick me into cooking that easily.
